How many things can change in a year?
Things that have stayed the same: Spring is living her best life at her retirement pasture in Missouri. She is queen of her little herd, her weight is great, and her leg looks pretty darn good most of the time. Things that have changed: I graduated from nursing school! Yay! And got my first RN job at my dream hospital... Which is in Michigan, so in late August B and I said goodbye to Missouri and moved 600 miles northeast. In late September, completely by surprise, we found out that we were about to undergo another major life change... Our baby girl is due Friday, but due to preeclampsia concerns I am going to be induced on Thursday. It's completely insane and we are scrambling to get everything ready because... We've been trying to get back to a more rural lifestyle since we moved, and about a month and a half ago stumbled across an ideal situation - rent and board for one horse in exchange for being the caretakers of a small equestrian estate...
