One year of Spring



What a difference a year makes, and what a journey this past year has been.


14 months ago I brought home a skinny, out-of-shape, $300 rescue. Looking back at these photos is a little shocking - I'd forgotten how thin she was when I brought her home. 


Happy 14 months, Spring. Here's to hoping for many, many more.

    It's hard to look at the skinny pictures, but she looks fabulous and it's only onward and upward for her with you! You should be so proud of how she looks and the changes you've made, she looks amazing.

What is "hot"?

When I started riding at CEC, I had roughly zero experience with riding horses that anyone in their right mind would consider "hot." I was a pretty timid rider as a child, and anything that moved too quickly was too much for me. The Steps We Take

I mentioned last week that the injections didn't seem to have made much of a difference for Leo; after 4-6 days, he should have been looking better, and he wasn't.  I attempted to contact my vet, and then proceeded to spend the next week playing phone tag.
