Update on the Saddle Saga: I have been assured that my order has been placed and that the transaction has gone through. However, my bank account continues to not reflect this, and they are still unable (for some reason) to tell me when the saddle will ship. This has led to much frustration, and I will be calling them tomorrow, yet again, to see when the shipping will occur.

My other big Black Friday purchase was a blanket for my poor pastured pony. However, this has also not arrived, nor has it shipped. It was not ordered from Dover, and I paid for shipping, expecting it to arrive this past Thursday. Apparently, the blanket is shipping directly from the manufacturer, not from the company that I ordered it from, and therefore they have no shipping or tracking information on it, although they did charge me. This is incredibly frustrating as well, not just because it is the second online order that I am having issues with, but also because winter is coming, and I would really like to be able to blanket my horse in instances of inclement weather, like the oh-so-lovely snowfall that I woke up to this morning.

And while I'm on my rant about online shopping failures, Leo's halter name plate that I ordered over a month ago has not yet shipped. So that's fun. And that is from a third company.

ReplyDeleteOnline shopping is the best when it goes well, but literally the worst ever when it doesn't 😑 hopefully your stuff all turns up soon!
ReplyDeleteFirst time commenting here, but I am going through the same thing. I ordered online from a good company and paid through PayPal. It never shipped and turns out when I called them that they are having issues with all paypal orders where they can't see the order, but get the money. Frustrating.
