Every New Beginning

Hey guys. It's been a minute.


Life has been chugging along. Spring is doing fantastically well - whatever was bothering her in the spring has been resolved. Our best guess - mare problems. Hormones are a bitch.


With regular work and a few training rides, Spring seems to be completely back to normal - and better than ever. Unfortunately, my job/work/school life still hasn't improved.


So, as of about an hour ago, Spring is officially ISO a lease rider. I am determined not to sell her - she is my heart horse, and I'll do everything I can to figure out all the ways around every obstacle life throws my direction.


All that said, if you know of anyone looking for a semi crazy but insanely talented redheaded mare to lease, send them my way (:

When I started riding at CEC, I had roughly zero experience with riding horses that anyone in their right mind would consider "hot." I was a pretty timid rider as a child, and anything that moved too quickly was too much for me. The Steps We Take

I mentioned last week that the injections didn't seem to have made much of a difference for Leo; after 4-6 days, he should have been looking better, and he wasn't.  I attempted to contact my vet, and then proceeded to spend the next week playing phone tag.
