The Re-Naming

Of the blog, not the horse.

Now that Leo is retired, and Spring is joining the family, I feel that "The Repurposed Saddlebred" is no longer most accurate of titles. So. Do I start an entirely new blog (with a new name) or do I rename this one? Which is the easiest for you, as readers?

And what should I call it now?

My first instinct is "The Repurposed Horse" - still accurate, as Spring is an OTTB, and still acknowledges Leo, who has in a way been repurposed once again (as a lawnmower. His new purpose in life is to eat all the things). I haven't actually come up with any other names, so... suggestions? Opinions?

  1. I'm terrible at naming things lol but I do like the repurposed horse! Would recommend that you just rename the blog instead of starting a whole new one - it's definitely easier for readers (esp those who don't check in as often) if you keep the same url.

  2. That's a tough one! I started calling Bailey the #feralredhorse pretty quickly after she got home, so I had a blog name pretty quickly. Heck, you could call your blog "Oatmeal" and I'd still be here, reading :D

  3. I like 'The Repurposed Horse' and please keep this blog- it makes it easier. :)

  4. I agree with the above -- the repurposed horse is a nod to both of them, and you can just rename the blog instead of starting a new one because Leo is still in the picture! :)

  5. I would just rename the blog so the address stays the same and goes on our readers easily :) Less confusing that way.

  6. The Repurposed Horse is cute! I'm sure if it fits, it fits. :) You'll know!

  7. I'd recommend renaming over making a new one. It's still your journey.
